Job Description: Laundry Aide
The Laundry Aide is responsible for ensuring that all laundry is cleaned, folded, and put away in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized laundry room.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and wash all laundry according to color, fabric, and care instructions.
- Dry and fold all laundry and ensure that it is put away in the appropriate location.
- Ensure that all laundry equipment is clean and in good working order
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry room.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
