Optalis Healthcare is Hiring an Admissions Director Near Ann Arbor, MI
This role is responsible for bed management, dispensing needed information to respective departments throughout the facility, and assisting patients and/or family members with the admission paperwork upon arrival to facility. Following the admission sign-in process, our coordinators are responsible for processing and inputting paperwork and patient information.
- Exposed to a high-paced office setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the essential functions of the job
- Effective use of interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Initiative and flexibility in work environment
- Ability to establish and carry out priorities
- Previous Admissions or Marketing Experience a plus
- Effective written communication skills
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Effective customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Post-acute experience
- Prior experience in long term care is preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid preferred
