Job Description:
The Activities Aide will be responsible for assisting in organizing and implementing recreational activities for residents in a senior living community. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, an outgoing personality and be energetic. The Activities Aide will work closely with the Activities Director to ensure that all activities are engaging, safe and enjoyable for residents. Duties may include:
- Assisting with planning and implementing daily activities
- Assisting with set up and clean up of activities
- Engaging with residents and encouraging participation in activities
- Assisting with transportation of residents to and from activities
- Assisting with documentation and record keeping
- Communicate interdepartmentally with clinical and non-clinical teams.
The Activities Aide must be able to work well in a team environment and have a passion for working with seniors. This is a full-time position with flexible hours.
