- Perform emergency unscheduled and scheduled production repairs and facility maintenance activities across 2 facilities.
- Operationally improve facility in short-term and deliver time and cost savings in long-term
- Understand and comply with all OSHA, safety and PPE requirements
- Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, upkeep and preventative maintenance on mills and pumps
- Read blueprints and wire diagrams for troubleshooting
- Read and understand equipment manuals and work orders to perform required service
- Prepare machinery for production requirements
- Programmable Logic Control to assist with machine operations and efficiency
- Follow standardized work instructions and follow safety procedures and determine ways to improve
- Cross-train maintenance team and back-fill other roles if needed
- Eagerness to get the job done in an efficient manner and not cut corners
- Accountable - show up on time, willingness to take ownership for mistakes and improve
- Willingness to work collaboratively
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED maintenance experience or comparable experience
- Knowledge in mill maintenance preferable
- Computer proficiency preferable
- able to stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl; push, pull, bend, lift 45 lbs
