Injection Molding Process Technician Job Duties :
- Minimum of five years experience in the set up and start up of injection molding machines ranging from 30 to 400 tons.
- Experience with automotive and small multi cavity parts.
- Experience in ISO 9000 and IATF 16949 environment is a big plus.
- Experience with a wide range of engineering materials and commodity materials is required.
- Training in RJG or Paulson injection molding processing would be a big plus.
- Ensure injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and processes are set to regulation parameters, meet quality standards and all production goals.
- Set up and start up molding machines, read blueprints, and check products with calipers, and other testing methods and devices.
- Provide feedback on mold design and assist Engineering to dial in each mold for optimal cycle time and quality.
- Operate, Monitor and troubleshoot processing problems, perform preventive maintenance tasks, and document process changes
- Understand the variables of components and raw a material.
