OpSource Staffing is Hiring an Electrical Assembler Near Charleston, SC

Our client continues to grow and has a need for a Manufacturing Electro/Mechanical Assembler!
As an assembler, you must have an aptitude for mechanics and an eye for detail. A top-notch assembler should have the ability to comprehend and follow detailed verbal and written instructions, as well as diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documents, and be a team player.

Pay Rate:
  • $18hr to $20hr
  • Pay rate based on experience at time of interview.

Working Hours:
  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:00am to 3:30pm

Job Requirements:
  • Using tools to make or repair parts and products.
  • Interpreting technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
  • Working with other members of the line or group to assemble products.
  • Keeping a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Meeting all safety requirements of the company and industry.
  • Identifying any defective items and handling them according to established procedures.
  • Using reason to solve problems as they arise.

Qualifications:
  • A High school diploma or GED.
  • Electro-mechanical experience is required as you will be assembling small to large/integrated parts requiring electrical and mechanical background experience as you follow blueprints.
  • Micro soldering experience is highly desired.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Skilled in mechanics and electronics.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Physically demanding.
