OpSource Staffing is Hiring a Customer Service rep Near Gaffney, SC

  • Key customer orders for fabric dyeing and finishing.
  • Set up Product Information Details (PID’s) as needed.
  • Expedite the knitting of customer’s greige goods using their yarn and CCW fabric package customers.
  • Prepare knitting orders on an as-needed basis.
  • Seek out knit specs for new sizes, punch weights, or new constructions.
  • Monitor the time frame of knitting and communicate to customers when knitting is behind.
  • Review and prepare incoming paperwork for the warehouse personnel.
  • Offer delivery schedules to customers and monitor the activity of the goods throughout the process.
  • Follow through with customer requests for test results on samples and/or regular production.
  • Work in conjunction with our customers and warehouse personnel in setting up shipments of greige goods and finished goods.
  • Maintain a cooperative and positive attitude with fellow CCW personnel and customers.
  • Anticipate questions from CCW management and customers.
  • Monitor any changes in the customer’s forecast or order needs. Collaborate with Forecast Coordinator on these changes.
  • Follow up with customers regarding fabric inventory (greige or finished) and their shipping plans.
  • Work closely with sample development team to understand what the customer’s goals and expectations are.
Must be a high school graduate.
Must possess excellent written and verbal skills.
Customer Service experience preferred.
Ability to carry out common sense instructions, verbally and written.
Must have a good knowledge of computers and general office experience.
Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook programs.
Must be skilled in data entry.
Have some knowledge of the finishing area.
Possess good people skills and works well under pressure.
Possess a strong sense of urgency.

Working Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Works generally at a desk in a well-lit, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels.
  • Ability to sit for hours at a time, viewing computer monitor and using telephone on a constant basis; some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move items weighing 10 – 15 pounds.
  • Occasional exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and areas where equipment/product reaches high temperatures is possible.
  • Occasional exposure to dusty and fragrant conditions, varying temperature levels, and high noise environments is possible.
  • Periods of stress may occur.
