Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at Opportunity Foundation support adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. We encourage them, care for them, and support them in every aspect of their lives - we make a real, tangible difference for the folks we support - and for our entire community.

From helping someone get started with their day, assisting with showering, dressing, eating, taking medications, etc., to taking folks to and from their jobs, appointments, or recreational activities, DSPs do it all.

We even go to the movies, bowling, out to eat, and take folks on vacations and to the fair!

SUB-POOL:

Must work a minimum of 16 hours a month; audit will be completed monthly by Residential Director. This minimum hour requirement must be met to be eligible for DSP Appreciation Week and potential DSP bonuses. Must attend all required classes within 60-days of the date the training is expiring. At beginning of the third month of non-compliance we will assume you are no longer interested in continuing employment and will accept your resignation.
