UCT is seeking an experienced and talented Tube Laser Operator to join our team in Chandler, AZ! The Tube Laser Operator will work with computer-controlled equipment or more mechanically based machines to ensure they are set up properly, working well, and producing a quality product. Tube laser operator will ensure their machines are working at full capacity, stocked with needed materials, and well maintained, and perform periodic checks on output. Some preventative maintenance is the responsibility of the tube laser operator. Additional items include loading and unloading material, palletizing finished product, completing documentation, moving finished goods to proper staging locations, and accurate labor tracking.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Problem-Solving Skills: Tube laser operators need to know why machines are not at peak performance, how to increase output, and how to fix errors.
• Attention to Detail: Tube laser operators will work with precision equipment. Being off by .001” could be a critical error.
• Mechanical and Technical Skills: computers control some machines and operators should be familiar with CAD/CAM technology. Others are highly mechanical, and operators need to know how and why they work.
• Machine operators often work long hours doing repetitive movements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of TRUMPF Trulaser Tube 7000 or equivalent is a must.
• Ability to read schematics, work complex instructions, and make sure items are designed and built correctly.
• Able to read need to read and understand blueprints, schematics, models, and other specifications.
• Knowledge of speeds and feeds as they relate to drilling and tapping.
• Follow company policies regarding workmanship standards, quality policy, and customer specifications.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification a plus.

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

• Semiconductor experiences a plus.
