The Digital Systems Manager will ensure streamlined completion of software development activities for the MIS department in alignment with the Digital Transformation strategy of the organization. This position will work on planning and execution of all project activities from a systems perspective. The Digital Systems Manager will work in a supportive fashion with the MIS and PMO team members to help guide project activities related to application architecture and development. Work closely with technology vendors to enhance partnerships and relationships to maximize application support and upgrade opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade of all Enterprise Applications and related systems.
  • Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the ERP infrastructure and Enterprise Application environments.
  • Assist the MIS Director in provisioning and creating strategic roadmaps for all Enterprise Applications within the Lanco portfolio.
  • Collaborate with technology vendors to ensure productive and supportive relationships.
  • Work closely with the MIS Director to plan for regular communication updates related to project activities.
  • Collaborate with the PMO team on building project activity reports for appropriate individuals (internal & external).
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to Software Project Core Teams as applicable.
  • Support solution design phase of Digital Transformation projects from an application architecture perspective.
  • Special projects or work as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Required:  Bachelors in computer science or information Systems or equivalent discipline and a minimum of 1 to 3 years of related experience.

Preferred: Exposure to Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms and to AI solutions, PMP Certification, ITIL Certification, CSM – Certified Scrum Master or Agile Practitioner

Required Skills/Competencies

  • knowledge, administrative and architectural experience in the following technologies: ERP Systems, databases, and web apps
  • Experience in Project Management, team collaboration and application architecture methodologies
  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of all data.

  • Office-Based
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
