A sleep lab technician plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders by assisting with sleep studies in a sleep center. They work under the supervision of a sleep physician or other healthcare professionals to prepare patients for studies, monitor them during sleep, collect and analyze data, and perform administrative tasks.

1.High school diploma or equivalent AND Completion of one of the following programs and proof of passing certification/licensure: 

• Associate's degree in sleep technology or a related field (preferred).
• Completion of a sleep technologist certification program 

2.BLS certification

• Proficiency in operating sleep study equipment, including EEG, EMG, and ECG monitors.
• Ability to interpret basic physiological data.
• Data entry and analysis skills.

1 year of experience in Sleep Lab preferred.
