• Assists with new clients and emergency shifts to ensure full coverage
• Onboards new clients including maintaining clients / DSP compliance
• Keeps constant communication with the supervisor and leads with any direction, clarification, or guidance.
• Scheduling DSP staff according to client needs, documenting client and staff attendance, track client units, monitor staff hours, and ensure daily care notes are in place.
• Plans and facilitates client activities and outings, events, and activity planning to align with the client’s PCSP
• Ensures proper budgeting and receipt submissions
• Facilitates large group outings
• Has a good working knowledge of DSPD and DHS contracts and the Code of Conduct.
• Completion and timely submission of quarterly reports for all assigned clients.
• Attends all assigned meetings and training.
• Supports clients with activities of daily living (ADL), bathrooms, hygiene, eating, etc.
• First point of contact for client families/guardians/care teams.
• Works respectfully with the client care team ensuring regular and effective communication
• Be accessible to employees that you supervise
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Attend meetings to ensure all groups are on the same page
• Plans and hosts the annual talent show
• This position will have up to 50% admin time (LATR)

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to help lift/transfer clients with a transfer board, gait belt, or hydraulic lift.
• Ability to drive for long distances/periods of time and stand for long periods.
• Ability to be physically active for long periods without getting tired our out of breath
• Ability to walk, squat, twist, turn, kneel, push, pull, reach and bend
