Quality Auditor Essential Functions/Duties:
As the main quality representative on the production floor, this person will collect measurement data, validate gages/ equipment, and perform product and process audits and other duties necessary.
Daily inspections, measurements, and data collection as per inspection sheets.
Daily audits as per checklists.
Reaction to potential out-of-specification/ incorrect / out-of-control items by notifying Supervisors, Quality Engineer, and Quality Manager.
Reaction to potential out-of-specification / incorrect / out-of-control items by placing them on hold is possible moving them to quarantine.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
Identify and document supplier component issues for communication with the supplier.
Participate in Continuous improvement activities.
Ensuring compliance to and participation in IATF 16949 and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance & ISO 14001 certification.
Can stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for Safety related matters requiring immediate repair.
Ensure the quality of incoming material to the plant meets the requirements.
Education/Professional Training:
Highschool Diploma
3 years working experience in a Quality capacity
