Overview:

We are seeking Bartenders to join our team. Experience a plus but not needed. All our bartenders are on payroll and is plus tips. Will go over details. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and serving drinks to our guests. If you have a fun personality and enjoy customers, we want to hear from you. Opie's 116 has lots of fun events. Bags weekly, Dart tournments, Gaming, Pool, Bands monthly, Themed parties. Trivia, Music Bingo. Have flexible shifts ava. From 1 day a week to multiple days. Some serving of food shifts ava. as well if interested.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Maintain a clean and organized bar area

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system

- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for banquet events

Experience:

- Previous experience working in the food industry or as a Bartender is preferred

- Knowledge of brewing techniques and beer styles is a plus

- Familiarity with retail math for inventory management is beneficial

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Please note that all positions at our establishment are paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 25 per week
