Ophthalmic Consultants of Vermont is Hiring a Patient Service Specialist Near South Burlington, VT

Patient Service Specialist

We are looking for an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our amazing team of medical professionals. The patient service specialist is responsible for greeting patients with a smile, verifying insurance and demographic information, and maintaining good customer service relations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, places an emphasis on customer service, and values career longevity.

Job Duties Include:

  • Patient scheduling
  • Processing incoming and outgoing referrals
  • Chart prep
  • Patient registration (demographics, insurance verification, etc.)
  • Processing incoming faxes
  • 2nd tier phone answering

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are a must. The position is 5 days a week: Monday through Friday. We offer a fantastic benefits package including health insurance, long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid vacation, 401k with company match. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
