The Role

The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations and strategy for the organization. You will be responsible for managing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance to ensure the company's financial health and sustainability. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic property management company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and investment opportunities. Implement strategies to optimize cash management and mitigate financial risks.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and track performance against targets. Identify variances and recommend corrective actions to achieve financial goals.
  • Financial Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Conduct periodic audits and reviews to assess financial risks and identify areas for improvement.
  • Financial Strategy: Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and stakeholders. Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives to support business growth and expansion.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, and other external partners. Negotiate favorable terms for financing, loans, and other financial arrangements.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; .
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in the property management or real estate industry.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills internally and for regular interaction with clients.
  • Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, as well as Property Management softwares.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
