Seeking an entrepreneurial CPA for a leadership role at Hack Club, a fast growing, fun, high-integrity, technical nonprofit.
You’ll be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all accounting functions for the Foundation’s two programs, Hack Club and HCB (fiscal sponsorship program), from cash flow to budgeting, reporting, payroll, and compliance, with a staff of two bookkeepers.
As Controller, you’ll play a vital role in the success of Hack Club’s nonprofit mission. We’re a fast-moving organization. You’ll have the opportunity to take on increasing leadership and responsibility.
We’re in Shelburne, VT. This position reports to the Executive Director.

Founded in 2014, now with 20 full-time employees and over 40 paid full-time and part-time interns and students, Hack Club’s mission is to support, inspire, and motivate teenagers from all backgrounds to become highly technical and use their computer skills to solve problems. Our goal: to become as ubiquitous, universal, and culturally foundational for young people today as the Girl and Boy Scouts were 70 years ago.
