Operation Sterilization Outreach Services, Inc. (DBA Operation SOS) is a mobile Veterinary surgery unit providing High-Quality High-Volume sterilization surgery using the ASPCA Humane Alliance program as a model. Operation SOS is the highest provider of spay/neuter services on the Treasure Coast/Okeechobee. A typical surgery day is as follows: Arrive at location at 730 am. Meeting the mobile unit at the location. Intake patients between 8-9am. Set up for surgery. Patients are either from area rescues/shelters or public coming through municipal-funded vouchers.

This position is responsible for includes but is not limited to: Restraint, lifting, giving vaccines, shaving/prepping for surgery, monitoring anesthesia, cleaning kennels and speaking with the public. We work Wednesday - Saturday from 7:45am - 4pm.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
