Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs substance use disorder and mental health counseling with clients in an outpatient treatment setting. Counselors duties include but are not limited assessment, individual/group therapy, and treatment planning. Responsible for servicing primary caseload along with other clients as assigned. Responsible for assisting in a broad range of staff training and development activities. The counselor is also responsible for documenting in accordance with company standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in counseling or a directly related field and/or current Florida licensure as LMHC, LMFT, LCSW or a Doctorate degree and current Florida licensure as PsyD, PhD.
• CAP (Certified Addictions Professional) preferred.
