Openwork is seeking Assemblers for a Global leader in nailed wooden reel manufacturer of over 73 years in the market.
What You’ll Be Doing: Assemblers play a key role in the production process of wood reels.
Must be able to work in a team-based environment to meet daily production goals.
Perks:
- Starting pay rate: $14.00/hour
- Shift: 7am to 3:30pm
- Weekly pay
- TEMP to HIRE
• Assemble precut wooden pieces to form reels for winding cables or strands
• Measure parts, using measuring tape and ruler, and assemble them using hand tools
• Weigh, mark, and attach tags to completed reels
• Grease reels to waterproof them
• Check product for quality assurance
Qualifications:
• Possess integrity and strong work ethic
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
• Ability to understand basic assembly instructions, both written and verbal
Work Environment:
• Labor Intensive
• Requiring some heavy lifting
• Work environment is not climate controlled
• Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing is preferred but not required
