Apprenticeship Overview
Our mission is to make publishing a book more rewarding for authors and their readers, which means working with mission-driven thought leaders and prolific creators in whatever capacity they need us—regardless of publishing path.

Position Summary

The Digital Marketer Apprenticeship is an entry-level position within Wonderwell geared toward building upon the foundations of a career as a Digital Marketer. As an Apprentice, you will complete the OpenClassrooms Digital Marketer Registered Apprenticeship training while simultaneously working for Wonderwell in the context of a Sales & Marketing Apprentice. You will earn a stipend during the training program. The program rhythm consists of one day of online technical training, working one-on-one with a mentor, and four days of on-the-job training per week. The 12-month competency-based training program includes on-the-job training and a technical training program.

Apprentice Responsibilities:
The work-study program participant will have the following responsibilities as part of the technical and work-study program:

  • Implement advertising or marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with others to develop or implement marketing strategies.
  • Design websites or web applications.
  • Analyze website or related online data to track trends or usage.
  • Coordinate project activities with other personnel or departments.
  • Develop performance metrics or standards related to information technology.
  • Analyze market or customer-related data.
  • Evaluate the utility of software or hardware technologies.
  • Recommend changes to improve computer or information systems.
  • Provide customer service to clients or users.
  • Maintain the inventory of equipment.
  • Update knowledge about emerging industry or technology trends.
  • Coordinate resource procurement activities.
  • Write computer programming code.
  • Design computer modeling or simulation programs.
  • Develop specifications or procedures for website development or maintenance.
  • Collaborate with others to determine design specifications or details.
  • Prepare graphics or other visual representations of information.
  • Develop computer or information security policies or procedures.
  • Develop guidelines for system implementation.

Qualifications:
For eligibility, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Able to work in the United States.
  • Be over 18 years of age. Be a U.S. citizen and have the right to work in the U.S.
  • Availability to train for 12 months in the registered Apprenticeship program.
  • Language: Have a strong verbal and written level of English (for non-native speakers, a CEFR level of B2, an IELTS band score of 6.5, or a TOEFL score of 80 is recommended).
  • Have a high school diploma, vocational certificate, or equivalent.
  • Have access to a computer (PC or Mac), headphones, a webcam, and a stable internet connection.
  • At least 8 GB of RAM and 100 GB of storage space available on your computer.
  • Administrator rights to your computer in order to install required programs.
  • Have at least one year of sales experience.

Technical prerequisites:

  • Master the fundamentals of computer literacy (high-school degree level)
  • Have basic experience in digital marketing, including knowledge in
  • benchmark analysis
  • market research
  • online survey tools and SEO
  • landing page and email design tools

These skills could be validated by having successfully completed a bootcamp or certification program or the following courses:
