Description and Responsibilities

At Open Sky we recognize the importance of person-centered mental health services. The Bridge Counseling Center serves individuals in the community as well as individuals who are served through other Open Sky programs in an outpatient capacity. We offer evidence-based practices, that include medication management and cognitive-behavioral treatments to support individuals with various clinical presentations. This includes Psychotic and Affective Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma Disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, Substance use disorders and others.

The Clinical Supervisor directs and supervises staff activities, leads team organizational and service planning meetings, provides clinical direction to staff regarding individual cases, conducts side-by-side contacts with staff and regularly conducts individual supervision meetings. The Clinical supervisor is responsible for direct patient services as a member of the clinical staff, clinical supervision for staff, and clinical leadership of the team on an ongoing basis.

Other Key Responsibilities:

• Hire, supervise, mentor and evaluate direct reports
• Oversee the identification of engagement strategies, ensuring consideration of individuals’ situations and preferences
• Oversee the screening, assessment, and reassessment of people served for risk and protective factors using agency risk assessment protocols and tools
• Oversee the development and implementation of Safety Plans and Crisis Prevention plans
• Build relationships with people served and develop shared understanding of individual goals and steps necessary to achieve goals
• Provide individual, group, or family therapy with people served in line with treatment plan

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Services field, required.
• Independent Clinical Licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LADC I), required.
• Previous experience working with adults with mental health challenges, required.
• Valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving record required.
