Purpose:
Responsible for treatment and case management. This position must have a positive and supportive attitude toward the agency and its overall success. Complete comprehensive assessment. Facilitate groups for youth. Provide crisis interventions as needed. Must have the ability to think globally, solve problems, have excellent organizational skills and have good decision-making skills, including critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Serve as Head of Service for Open Line Group Homes STRTP per Interim Standard MH STRTP Regulations
- Follow the Trauma Informed Care philosophy when supporting and addressing the needs of the children and families served by Open Line Group Homes
- Will be on call as identified as a support to our clinical department as necessary
- Following the agency mission demonstrated by setting departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure and maintain contract compliance, monitoring, timeliness and reporting to ensure all goals are being met.
- Implement all therapeutic programs according to contracts and regulations, ensuring compliance on all implementation and reporting levels
- Develop and maintain program policies and procedures for therapeutic programs
- Project, develop, and monitor revenue and expense budget for SMHS billing productivity.
- Responsible for assigned operational procedures related to performance quality improvement, including:
-Helping Open Line Group Homes meet its performance quality improvement, evaluation, and reporting requirements
-Contributing to developing outcomes and indicators and setting targets
-Interpreting data
-Applying data to improve practices and outcomes
-Using program and client outcomes data to improve service delivery
-Provide oversight for daily implementation of all therapeutic programs and their relative budgets
- Provide guidance to non-therapeutic staff related to client needs
- Documentation required for Medi-Cal billing.
- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with other stakeholders to ensure support of Open Line Group Homes’ vision, mission and values.
- Represent Open Line Group Homes in the community, corporate and donor environments
- Work collaboratively with the Residential Treatment Director to interview and assess prospective youth/NMDs
- Participate in Child-Family Teams
- Regularly review and recommend changes in program services to meet client needs with particular emphasis on services for underserved populations, oversight of program evaluation and quality assurance functions for department including assessment of applicable legal and professional requirements and monitoring treatment plans for clients.
- Ensure contract compliance for department and employees within the department.
- Initiate, implement and monitor compliance of approved evidence-based practices and treatment
- Work with other members of the management team to assure successful communication and coordination between all programs, and participate Open Line Group Homes strategic planning
- Work with the Residential Treatment Director and attend collaborative team meetings to provide consistent communication and direction to the residential team members
- Must be reliable and consistent with attendance and punctuality to work
- Represent Open Line Group Homes in a professional manner
- Understand and follow all policies and procedures of Open Line Group Homes
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the MH Director and CEO
