Overview: Child personal care aid needed 40 hour a week
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Administer medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate supervisor

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathy and compassion for individuals requiring personal care assistance
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Patience and understanding when working with individuals with varying needs and abilities
- Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for the position)
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening (if required by employer)
- CPR and First Aid certification (may be required by some employers)
- Previous experience in personal care or related field is preferred but not required
