Special Needs Caregiver/Direct Support Professional

2nd SHIFT and 3rd SHIFT AVAILABLE. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO WORK EVERY OTHER WEEKEND. OVERTIME EACH WEEK IS AVAILABLE.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregivers/ Personal Assistants to provide support and assistance to adults with Special Needs. As a CG/PA, you will play a crucial role in helping clients with their daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life.

Job Duties

- Provide personal care and assistance to special need adults, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with medication management and administration
- Support clients in maintaining their physical and emotional well-being
- Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Assist with mobility and transfer needs, including lifting and transferring clients as necessary
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

Job Requirements
- Previous experience in nursing, social work, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to lift and assist with the physical needs of clients
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Experience in childcare or working with individuals with special needs is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow systems and routines
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for errands and appointments
- Familiarity with home care or hospice care is beneficial

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
