OPCO Skilled Management is Hiring a Weekend Receptionist Near Kansas, MO

Job Title: Unit Secretary / Receptionist

Reports to: Patient Care Coordinator

Principal Responsibilities:

TECHNICAL

• Assists with cleaning and maintaining central supply equipment as necessary.

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Maintains patient care records.

• Transcribes doctors orders.

• Screens telephone calls and/or visitors on the nursing unit.

• Maintains unit supplies.

• Maintains communication board/Kardex and/or any other working logs utilized by the nursing staff.

• Initiates and/or assists with admission/discharge paperwork.

• Maintains central supply par levels and charging system. QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Good written and verbal communication skills (in English language).

• Knowledge of medical terminology.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Good organizational skills.

• Long term care experience preferred.

CONSUMER SERVICE

• Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.

• Adheres to Company standards for resolving consumer concerns.

• Ensures all patient/resident rights are protected.
