**Job Description:**

Twilight Hospice is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior hospice experience, exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage timelines effectively, and strong customer service aptitude. This position will be responsible for overseeing all clinical staff and coordinating interdisciplinary efforts to deliver high-quality care to our patients and their families.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide leadership and direction to the clinical team, ensuring adherence to hospice standards and regulations.

- Coordinate and manage clinical staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for patient care needs.

- Conduct clinical triage as needed, assessing patient needs and coordinating appropriate interventions.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, social workers, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care planning.

- Maintain open communication with patients, families, and caregivers, providing support and guidance throughout the hospice journey.

- Foster a culture of compassion, excellence, and continuous improvement within the clinical team.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.

- Participate in performance evaluation and professional development activities for clinical staff members.

**Qualifications:**

- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospice care, with demonstrated leadership abilities.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.

- Clinical triage experience preferred.

- Knowledge of hospice regulations, CoPs, and standards of practice.

- Commitment to providing compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families.
