Work environment of/for assignment:
- School Campus
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors.
- Respond to suspicious activity and/or disturbances.
- Conducts foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the campus property.
- Generates daily activity reports and incident reports, when required.
Requirements:
- 21 years of age
- Must have high-school diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid Texas driver license
- Must be able to read and write the English language
- Current "Commissioned Officer" licensing through DPS-PSB
- Minimum of 2 years of Security, Military and/or Law Enforcement in "armed" capacity
- Must have extensive knowledge on detaining, arrest, and use of force laws
- Must be able and willing to comply with pre-screening and post-employment drug testing requirements, in accordance with current TWC policies
- Height-to-weight proportionate
- Must be able and willing to pass basic physical agility test
- Must be able and willing to complete 40-hour "Advanced Level Security Officer" training program
- Must have available personal smart-phone with current OS, unlimited cellular service plan, GPS capability, and the ability to record pictures and video
- Must have your own duty rig and service weapon
- Must be certified for and possess at least 1-intermediate weapon (OC, Baton, and/or Tazer)
