OOIDA is dedicated to ensuring the success and well-being of owner-operators and small fleet owners across North America. As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Commercial Claims Representative.

Responsibilities

  • Answers routine phone calls, inputs new claims, and provides information to callers on existing claims, directing them as needed to the appropriate adjuster, supervisor, or manager
  • Excellent customer service, phone communication, and organizational skills required with the ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Reads and understands various commercial auto policies and endorsements
  • Reviews coverage records and assigns the correct risk during the creation of a new claim

Qualifications


Required

  • One-year customer service specifically over the phone
  • Two years office experience
  • One-year insurance industry experience

Helpful

  • Knowledge of AS400 and Content Manager
  • Knowledge of the trucking industry
  • Insurance claim handling
  • Bilingual (English, Spanish)
