We are a family owned and operated Excavation & Landscape Construction Company located in Acton, MA seeking a motivated individual with 3-5 years experience in a Foreman role in Public or Private Works. This is a full time (with paid overtime), seasonal position with potential for year-round work. Job applicants should meet the following criteria:

EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with the following: Drainage and storm water management, utility work, site grading, digging and removal of earth, ledge and/or paving materials, utility installation, foundations, maintain budgets and keep to a timeline, supervision of a crew, ensuring overall productivity, quality and safety of a project. Ability to train new workers is a plus.

SKILLS:

In addition to the experience listed above, candidate should have strong leadership skills and be comfortable communicating with sub-contractors, clients, architects, and management. Great organizational skills are also a plus as foreman will be responsible for filling out and keeping track of daily foreman logs, job sheets, and timecards.

REQUIREMENTS:

The following requirements must be met to be considered for a position: Valid MA Driver’s license with clean record (Class A or B Commercial license a plus but not required), DOT Certificate (acquired within one month after date of hire), Hoisting License 2A/1C and ability to pass a drug test.
