WHAT YOU WILL DO onX is seeking a Hardware Support Specialist in Information Technology with a passion for Solving technology issues. Your focus will be on managing onX IT hardware. You will be a part of our Information Technology team that is focused and serving our internal customers.This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic growing company focused on making an impact on the business, and serving others. This role will serve as the owner of all IT Assets at onX and will report to The Director of Information Technology.
As an onX Hardware Support Specialist, your essential job duties and responsibilities will look like: - Administer Mac OS, iOS, Windows, and Android operating systems.
- Ability to coordinate, lead and follow in a fast-paced IT environment.
- Create a magical on-boarding experience for new hires and existing staff.
- Off-boarding of departing staff (facilitating the return of company owned devices).
- Setup, takedown, and troubleshooting of AV equipment for on and offsite events.
- Investigating, diagnosing, and solving computer software/hardware related issues.
- Maintain IT assets by keeping them in clean, good, working order and accurate device assignment.
- Coordinate purchases of new equipment.
- Own IT gear for trade shows.
- Provide on-call tech-support as needed throughout the entire trade show process.
- Fixing broken equipment, coordinating laptop repairs or repairs of other hardware.
- Maintaining approvals and records of software licenses.
- Consulting with managers and other departments as required.
- Take ownership and not be afraid to bring new ideas to the table.
- Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.
- Willing to lift boxes, clean floors, and hold doors if that's what it takes to get something done.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING - Strong teamwork and communication skills (verbal and written).

- This position is an office only position (Must be able to report to our Bozeman or Missoula office daily).

- Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX.
- Ability to travel monthly for multiple days to a corporate office or other onX strategic location, such as a Basecamp.

WHERE YOU CAN WORK This is an
in-person position to be performed on-site at one of onX's corporate offices
in Missoula or Bozeman, MT. HOW YOU'LL BE COMPENSATED onX is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for their contributions. For this position, applicants can expect to make between $22.50 to $26.50 per hour upon hire. The pay range will vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and education among other factors as required in the job description. In addition, full-time onX employees are eligible for a grant of common share options with a vesting schedule and a potential annual bonus of 10% based on company performance.
