Onward Searchneeds a Full Stack Developer for a Fortune 500 client.  This is a 6-month assignment possible extension

• 80% Back-End Java 
• 20% Front-End React or TypeScript 
• The ideal candidate will possess experience in Scala and BigQuery to contribute to the development of critical tools for cloud cost analysis and optimization. 
• Demonstrate extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). 
• Design and implement large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines utilizing data processing frameworks such as Scio, Storm, Spark, and GCP-native solutions. 
• Develop distributed, high-volume services leveraging Java or Scala. 
• Adhere to best practices in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) methodologies. 
• Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional Agile team environment, actively participating in experimentation, iteration, and achieving product objectives. 

Skills & Experience Needed:

• 3 – 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Data-driven Backend Engineer with a strong foundation in Java and SQL
• Prior experience with React and TypeScript.
• Java Frameworks: Experience with popular frameworks like Spring or Hibernate for efficient backend development.
• Data Structures & Algorithms: Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms for efficient problem-solving.
• Version Control: Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for code management.
