Onward Search's health care client, is looking for a Lead UX Designer skilled in Native Mobile App (iOS and Android) to lead a team of 5 direct reports.
This is a Remote, contract opportunity. EST candidates strongly preferred.

As a Lead UX Designer you’ll:

• Lead design for consumer experiences
• Facilitate collaboration and advocate for user needs and design best practices
• Demonstrate creative problem-solving and curiosity
• Navigate ambiguity and proactively collaborate
• Work independently and take initiative to plan work against defined goals
• Consider cross-platform scalability in designs
• Be informed by primary and secondary research

Skills & Experience needed:

• Strong portfolio of work that includes native app design and mobile best practices
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in native app design, including IxD and visual design for large-scale digital projects
• 3 years of experience managing a team, leading design collaboration sessions with a range of stakeholders
• Proven experience defining design direction, communicating rationale to a non-design audience, and successful advocacy for design decisions
• Fluency in Figma, Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) method
• Familiarity with development tools and processes (e.g., XCode) is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Graphic Design, Information Design, Product Design, Human Factors, or equivalent/relevant work experience.
