OnTrack is currently hiring for a Bilingual Child Watch Attendant to join our team in Medford, OR!

Provides child watch services at Outpatient facility during parents’ group or individual counseling sessions. Provide age-appropriate activity and maintain safe, supportive, clean space at all times. This is a part time position with hours based on clinical services schedule. May include some Saturdays and/or early evenings.

For over 50 years, OnTrack Rogue Valley has provided vital addiction treatment and recovery services. We offer outpatient and residential treatment options for adults and teens for substance abuse and addiction, DUII, domestic abuse, and other behavioral health issues.

Compensation:

• $18.90 per hour
• $500 signing bonus
• M-F 10am-2pm

Essential Functions:

• Provide age-appropriate activity at each session for children 6 months – 5 years
• Create and maintain a clean, safe, welcoming and engaging environment for children
• Interact with clients and other staff in a professional manner at all times. Model healthy boundaries and interpersonal communication skills
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings
• Follow all established agency policy and protocol
• Complete required documentation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Skills Requirements:

• Experience or interest in early childhood development or education helpful
• Food handler’s license or ability to obtain
• Basic computer literacy
• CPR, Infant CPR certificate required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Clear understanding of mandatory reporting and HIPPA privacy protections
• Spanish fluency

Education/Licensure/Certification requirement:

• High school degree or equivalent required
• ACES training preferred
• Classroom, youth recreation or daycare experience helpful

Background: Clear background check, drug screen as expected

Work environment: This job is active work. Ability to interact with children on their level may require stooping, bending, sitting on floor; ability to lift and hold children, place in cribs.
