Ontic's Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. Our team is looking for a Production Control Expeditor to join them. You will report to the MRO Sr. Operations Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA .
To be considered for the Production Control Expeditor opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience required
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented nature.
• Prior experience in production control expediting or similar role.
• Familiarity with basic manufacturing processes.

As a Production Control Expeditor , you will:

• Coordinate and facilitate the movement of materials to and from various production areas.
• Ensure proper identification, handling, staging, and organization of all materials throughout the production cycle.
• Collaborate with production planners, cell leaders, and support staff to align with production plans.
• Maintain consistent, timely, and accurate communication.
• Ensure timely issuance of materials to support production requirements.
• Read and interpret production reports, taking necessary actions daily.
• Respond promptly to unplanned issues as they arise.
