Ontario County (Department of Human Resources) is Hiring a Dispatcher Near Canandaigua, NY

The Ontario County Office of Sheriff is currently seeking applicants to fill multiple Dispatcher I positions at the 911 Call Center.

Through the NYS Civil Service Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement (HELP) program a civil service exam is not needed for this position.

After one year of employment you will be granted competitive status. Rate of Pay : $23.86 / hr. (plus comprehensive benefits package includes paid holidays, paid leave, 2% match to deferred compensation, full health and dental insurance, wellness program, EAP, professional development training, and NYS Retirement pension) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Graduation from high school, or higher, or possession of high school equivalency diploma (GED).
