### Job Title: General Laborer - Construction

#### Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist skilled workers in various tasks, ensuring that job sites are kept clean and safe. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of our construction projects.

#### Responsibilities:

- **Site Preparation:** Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning debris, loading and unloading materials, and setting up necessary equipment.

- **Material Handling:** Transport and handle construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas.

- **Equipment Operation:** Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.

- **Support Tradespeople:** Provide assistance to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, masons, and electricians, as needed.

- **Maintenance:** Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any issues to supervisors.

- **Safety Compliance:** Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment, including wearing protective gear and participating in safety meetings.

- **Miscellaneous Tasks:** Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or project manager.

#### Qualifications:

- **Experience:** Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

- **Physical Stamina:** Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods.

- **Skills:** Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment.

- **Reliability:** Punctuality and dependability are critical.

- **Team Player:** Ability to work well with others and take direction from supervisors.

- **Flexibility:** Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to different job site requirements.

#### Requirements:

- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent.

- **Certifications:** Valid driver's license. OSHA certification is a plus.

- **Background Check:** Must pass a background check and drug screening.

- **Work Hours:** Full-time position with potential for overtime. Flexibility in work hours may be required depending on project needs.
