As a Valet Attendant, you are the first and last person patients and guests see during their visit, which allows you to make positive first and last impressions. In this role, you will welcome the patients & guests, and park and retrieve their vehicles. Location

• Bay Health Hospital in Dover (Kent Campus), DE

Hours of Operation - 6am - 9pm

• Monday to Friday (Shift varied) - Part-time shift available only!

Position Overview

• Greet and welcome guests to the healthcare facility
• Assist guests by opening doors, exiting cars, handling luggage, wheelchairs/walkers, and assisting with entering or exiting the facility
• Park and retrieve guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following driving best practices and obeying traffic laws
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with all patients, guests, and team members
• Answer guests' questions regarding medical offices or department locations.

Position Requirements

• At least 19 years of age (per company insurance policy)
• Must have a current, valid driver's license
• At least three years of supervisory or management experience is preferred
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Adaptability to flex to changing priorities and expectations
• Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to effectively build relationships with patients, guests, and team members
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Ability to work in a standing position for hours at a time in an outdoor environment
