JOB SUMMARY: As a Content Specialist, this person will perform a wide variety of website and marketing-related tasks whereby all duties are done with accuracy and in a timely manner. This person works with the Website Team and Website Team Manager to develop and enhance an effective digital strategy for our clients. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Website Team Responsibilities
    • Write and implement SEO best practices
    • Collaborate with the website team to strategically develop website copy
    • Conduct keyword research to enhance search visibility
    • Strategically craft website content and layout
  • Google Analytics and Data Analysis
    • Responsible for executing and overseeing the implementation of social media and Google ad strategies
    • Utilize data analytics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for optimization
  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
    • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for organic search growth
    • Stay updated on SEO trends and adapt strategies as needed
  • Digital Advertising
    • Plan, execute, and manage digital advertising campaigns across various platforms (ex: Google Ads, Facebook Ads)
    • Monitor ad performance, adjust budgets, and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI
  • Works closely with the Website Team Manager to understand needs and desired results for client’s overall digital strategy
  • Encourage consistent branding and messaging throughout clients’ campaigns
  • Innovative, organized and results-oriented
  • Lead generation and nurturing experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Good understanding of the basic principles of public relations and/or marketing.
  • Strong creative writing and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive topics.
  • Ability to interact with many people and absorb multiple interruptions while staying on task.
  • Strong computer and technology skills.
  • Learn quickly, research well, and love to take on challenging new tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and skills.
  • Innovative, organized, and results-oriented.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience managing Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other digital advertising platforms
  • Experience using Facebook, Twitter, blogs, LinkedIn, and/or YouTube
  • Experience with HubSpot
  • Strong writing experience - page content, copywriting, blog posts
  • Graphic design experience/skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, or other related field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in marketing.
  • Excellent creative writing and editing skills
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and other data analysis tools
  • Understanding of current social media and digital trends
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to demonstrate time management, organization, and reasonability skills
  • Eager to learn and adapt to all projects
