This is a temporary position with the possibility of permanent part-time of full-time employment. The candidate must be a Tempe, AZ or surrounding area resident and will work at the Kyrene Road, Tempe, AZ branch.

WHAT YOU WILL DO HERE

• Follows up on receipt of all Funding Packages.
• Updates system as needed with dates/information as needed.
• Reviews and stacks all files to ensure we are providing the complete package in a timely manner to Post Closing in preparation for investor delivery.
• Ships collateral within expected SLA.
• Scans full file, for Off-Site Team to complete review.
• Contacts Closer, Title/Escrow Company, Mortgage Consultant, Business Partners on any /all outstanding conditions needed.
• Delivers complete file to the identified investor within expected SLA and prior to lock expiration.
• Monitors pipeline as it pertains to closing packages received, files received from offsite UW, and delivery to Post Closing. Maintains reports for tracking purposes.
• Works closely with Closer/Funder, Closing Manager, Post closing, Compliance for complete file delivery.
• Pulls daily reports to identify newly closed transactions and monitors/request shipment of notes from custodian to the identified investor.
• The below functions may also be needed:
  • Scans documentation as needed into Encompass.
  • Draws final documents for loan closing, ensuring all data needed is included and forward to appropriate parties.
  • MERS transfers to applicable investor once loan is purchased.
  • Processing of incoming Trailing Documents, including scanning, uploading, packaging and delivery to identified investor.
  • Work with external parties, title/closing attorney, county recorders on document corrections.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Education:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience closing/funding residential mortgage loans.

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

• FHA/VA/CONV experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GFE, TIL and RESPA rules.
• Ability to draw and review loans documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Must be pro-active.
• Excellent organization, time management and attention-to-detail abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with focus on customer service
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents, procedural guidelines, and government regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
• Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and to solve problems with variables.
• Must be a team player!
