Position Summary
The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for the financial operation of our residential properties. This includes maintaining the cash and reconciling it monthly, inputting of expense invoices, and monthly financial reports.

What Will You Do?
- Manage accounting help desk daily to ensure requests are resolved timely
- Audit Security Deposit Accounting and process refunds for resident move outs
- Review of tenant ledgers and application of charges/credits
- Expense invoice entry in accounting software
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Reconcile bank activity on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
- Be involved in annual budgeting process pulling prior year data and assisting in budget input
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Work closely with accountants with regards to monthly financial reviews
- Other duties/special projects as assigned from time to time
What You Bring.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Two years of Residential Accounting
- Proficiency in Yardi is preferred
- Good oral and written communications skills
