Only Love Home Care is looking for a qualified Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to service the Hidalgo County area.
Duties:
- Assist occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and tasks
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with medical imaging and occupational health practices
- Experience working in acute care settings is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
