What will I be doing?

Blueprint is looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our growing team. The IT Business Analyst’s role is to evaluate business processes, identify needs, and develop strategies to maximize opportunities. You will work with business, IT and data systems. The role will interact with program managers, program stakeholders, data analysts, and various subject experts.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Own the delivery of regular, recurring business updates, including analysis of business trends and program insights, to an executive leadership team
• Collaborates with team/stakeholders to execute project scope and vision
• Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
• Research, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing trends and communicate updates and make recommendations to the project team.
• Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
• Combine effective storytelling with robust, accurate data analysis to provide direction or recommendations to members of the project team.
• Assists with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options and communicating these back to the business stakeholders.
• Manages and tracks assigned tasks throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
• Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally or through written documentation — to project managers, program team, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Expert Excel skills
• Strong SQL skills a huge plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent presentation abilities, with experience presenting to an executive audience
• Proven management and organization skills
• Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments
• In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance or related field
• Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience, with a strong preference towards candidates with experience supporting Sales or Marketing teams
• Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
• Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources
• Working knowledge of Windows office systems
• Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
