Working with wood to build and repair structures

Carpentry : 1 year

Requires calculating quotes, meeting with clients and creating design plans for remodeling projects.

Work Experience

• Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic and electric tools
• Safety conscious a must, OSHA certification a plus
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines a must
• Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
• Good communication skills and basic knowledge of technology
• Ability to listen and follow instructions
• Spanish Speaking a plus
• Repair and complete frame and cornice items as needed
• Site cleanup as needed
• Truss experience, heavy machine operator a plus

Requirements / Physical Requirements :

• Driver's License (Required)
• Work authorization (Required)
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Climbing and balancing up and down ladders, scaffolds and similar devices using feet, legs, hands, and arms to perform tasks such as inspection of job site.
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 20 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Lifting and carrying material and objects.
• Walking / balancing and moving about on foot to perform tasks where there are rough terrain and / or impediments such as sand, mud, or ice.

to all forms of weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, dry, humid, windy) for part or the entire workday.

Position will require bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, pushing / pulling, twisting, standing, and walking
