Onin Staffing is currently looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Madison, AL. This is a long-term position with an opportunity to work for a Best Places to work company.

2nd Shift - $25.44 per hour (6:30pm-3:45am)
Work Experience- Routinely inspects and maintains production equipment
- Performs minor and routine repairs including but not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
- Assists with the installation and modification of production equipment systems.
- Assists with any mechanical modification in the workshop.
- Creates and maintains up-to-date service and replacement data files for production-related equipment.
- Performs routine Preventive Maintenance on equipment.
- Coordinate with the engineering support team from overseas and create daily/weekly/monthly maintenance standards, as well as preventive maintenance standards.
- Creates routine maintenance and preventive maintenance data and files.
- Ensures PM’s are performed at designated intervals.
- Assist with procurement of service contracts/repair work; assist with purchase of many facility fixtures and equipment.
- Communicate and follow the Engineering team’s instructions in case an enormous issue occurs.
- Makes recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.
- Inspects production-related equipment in unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, keep safe and clean working
