OneWater Marine / Revver is looking an Event Coordinator to focus on planning and executing key events and tradeshows for retail boat dealerships located between Destin FL and Saint Petersburg FL. Organizing all the details surrounding both onsite and offsite events, managing planning documentation that are shared cross-departmentally, executing on logistic needs, and reconciling budgets.

We are looking for a candidate that brings together effective communication, excellent writing, keen attention to detail, efficient project management, and a multi-tasking extraordinaire.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the key point of contact for event planning which includes communication with vendors, associations, and internal stakeholders such as Sales and Marketing.
• Tracking, processing, and reconciling invoices for events.
• This is not just an event planning position, we need someone who is tuned into event marketing and wants to understand why we host an event, the outcomes we want to achieve, and help build a roadmap to our event presence.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Organize logistics with an understanding of timelines, deadlines, and tracking all aspects of the events.
• Maintain clear communication with ability to take complex information and make it digestible.
• Contribute ideas to the mix so that we can continue to improve.
• Support our leadership and our dealership with a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of event experience
• Ability to travel up to 30-40% within central and northwestern Florida.
• Experience working cross-department and with various levels of the organization from coordinators, contractors, and leadership.
• Experience in managing events ranging from trade shows to private events to internal retreats.
• Proven track record of simultaneously managing multiple events and engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to work with vendors in venue management, shipping, fulfillment.
• Willingness to dig in and to learn.
• Fluency in MS Office and Google Suite
