OneWall Communities is Hiring a Resident Relations Coordinator Near Temple, MD

The Position

We are looking for a Resident Relations Coordinator who will build and maintain effective working relationships with residents, provide professional customer service and coordinate programs and move-ins. Provide timely responses to resident communications, follow up to service and ensure system reflects all actions taken. A successful candidate must be very organized, possess good interpersonal skills, able to multi-task well, all within specific time constraints. The schedule for this position is Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Rotational weekends include Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the planning, organizing, and implementing of resident initiatives in accordance with fair housing laws and regulations, and HUD regulations and directives.
  • Record all resident complaints and requests, follow-up and resolve and notify residents of action taken within 24 hours.
  • Complete, record and follow up on all completed work orders within 24 hours. Schedule vendors as needed.
  • Assist with the renewal process on a monthly basis.
  • Answer phone calls, open incoming mail and distribute accordingly.
  • Coordinate the activities of established resident retention and relations programs.
  • Actively reach out to the community to involve them in recreational and community programs.
  • Assist with the coordination and supervision of on-site special events.
  • Assist leasing and other departments as directed by the supervisor.
  • Assist in coordinating the work order activities of the maintenance technicians.
  • Update property management system with resident concerns, work orders and status as required.
  • Inspect apartments before move ins.
  • Prepare keys and welcome packages for new residents.
  • Complete OneWall University courses by the required deadline.
  • ​​​​Perform all other duties as determined by the Community Manager.

Education, Training, and Certifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • 2 year minimum in customer relations and/or sale experience required
  • Leasing and/or administrative experience preferred
