What you'll do...
The Manager of Digital Business Intelligence and Reporting will work with leadership to set the strategic vision for our data analytics capabilities and execute the plan to achieve business goals. Successful candidates will be passionate about leveraging technology and delivering data insights to create highly valuable change across the organization. This role will be responsible for collaborating across the business to understand their data needs. This will lead to managing a pipeline of data reporting & dashboard requests as well as participation in system integration projects. Ideally this candidate enjoys working across all business groups including finance, operations, and engineering to deliver new highly valuable business intelligence and data analytics.
You'll make an impact by:

• Managing complex business intelligence and reporting solutions by researching potential solutions; making recommendations to meet end user business objectives; updating business data; creating visual prototypes and design documentation; monitoring solutions and troubleshooting any issues; completing dashboard and reporting specifications; and creating reports and visualization of information to effectively communicate results.
• Managing the implementation of business intelligence solution roadmaps by developing written and oral presentations and presenting to diverse audiences (for example, management, customers, suppliers, business intelligence, and analytics staff); teaching business intelligence and reporting technologies and processes through informal and formal mentorship both inside and outside the team; ensuring solution testing and validation; ensuring requirements are met to support implementations ; overseeing upgrades and release schedules for business intelligence and database products; reviewing impact of changes before and after solution implementation; and communicating project results and updates to senior leadership.
• Creating and revising complex business intelligence and reporting solutions by identifying business requirements and validating gathered information ; collaborating with subject matter experts, data experts, and other business intelligence and analytics experts; coordinating the evaluation of customer and supplier solutions; making recommendations to meet end user business objectives; designing and conducting analysis and reporting solutions; writing detailed dashboard and reporting specifications; documenting and revising processes to collect, analyze, compile, and submit data and information; and creating reports and visualization of information to effectively communicate results.
• Understanding current customer business intelligence and reporting needs by managing production of scheduled reports; managing reporting databases to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data; maintaining materials for state-of-the-art user interfaces that enable business users to interpret trends and exceptions; providing guidance and direction to stakeholders to interpret trends and exceptions; and identifying gaps and opportunities in business intelligence and reporting solutions.
• Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills across variety of stakeholders with an ability to negotiate with and influence others
• Working with globally distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner

You'll sweep us off our feet if you:

• Have a comprehensive understanding of data analysis, reporting, proficient in SQL, data query languages, and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• If you have proven experience in translating business requirements into innovative data solutions that drive growth and leveraging data to inform business strategy and process design.
• You possess strong collaboration skills, adept at working in a team-focused environment and liaising with various organizational departments to meet their data needs.
• You are skilled in aligning data strategies and systems with business objectives, with the ability to adjust these strategies as business needs evolve.
• You are experienced in maintaining data integrity through regular quality checks, troubleshooting data-related issues, and providing timely resolutions.
• You keep up to date with current industry trends and advancements in data analysis, reporting, and technology, coupled with a solid understanding of data modeling, database design principles, and data integration processes.

Implements compliance reporting strategy by

• identifying customer and operational needs and developing customized reports to reflect reporting requirements
• providing guidance and direction on best practice reporting methods
• developing internal reports to monitor obligations, risk mitigation plans, procedures, and long term strategy
• identifying performance standards, measuring progress, and adjusting performance accordingly to meet set standards
• reviewing and prioritizing report requests
• reviewing new reporting concepts and determining business impact
• analyzing project requests, developing solutions and providing implementation recommendations
• leading cross functional teams responsible for implementing solutions
• communicating projects, current reports, and strategy to stakeholders
• reviewing third party or industry reporting systems and solutions for implementation options
• working with internal teams to test and implement new reporting technology.

Develops business intelligence solutions with customers and other system areas by

• ensuring solution testing and validation
• overseeing upgrades and release schedules for business intelligence and database products
• managing production of scheduled regulatory reports
• ensuring requirements are met to support implementations
• managing the compliance reporting database to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data
• ensuring development of system documentation
• developing materials for state of the art user interfaces that enable business users to interpret trends and exceptions
• reviewing change implementation before and after production installations.

Provides data-based analysis and insights to drive investigative analytics strategy by

• coordinating the development of complete datasets needed to support project-level models
• designing statistical or heuristic models for applications involving multiple statistical techniques and stakeholders
• coordinating with internal and external customers to build consistent and accurate strategies for using functional area metrics
• developing statistical or segmentation models
• identifying critical factors influencing project objectives
• performing analyses utilizing advanced software and techniques
• evaluating and interpreting results accurately
• presenting conclusions, deliverables, and recommendations to stakeholders to support the business.

Presents data insights and recommendations to key stakeholders by

• consulting with internal organizations
• developing insights based on data analysis on highly complex or significant matter
• developing big data modeling to identify vulnerabilities
• applying analytical results to project goals
• identifying trends and key insights
• translating results into business actions
• presenting insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Leads medium and participates in large data analytics project teams and manages long-term, complex analytic projects by

• serving as a technical lead for analytics projects
• working with project teams and business partners to determine project goals
• partnering with external entities
• developing contingency plans for data analysis
• determining modeling based on business needs
• identifying the need for use of advanced analysis methodologies
• developing case theories across business areas
• developing assessments of key risks
• prioritizing and executing work streams for highly complex or significant allegations
• directing the analysis of data
• gathering data and developing reports as needed
• utilizing business knowledge to ensure data supports project goals
• analyzing data based on identified variables
• reviewing data results to ensure accuracy
• communicating results and insights to the project team and business partners.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
