Job Purpose and Impact

The Transportation and Logistics Operations Assistant will work in an office environment conducting clerical work within the transportation field to optimize resource use, minimize costs and maintain quality standards. We seek a professional who will contribute to conducting data management, reporting and analysis, shipping, client interaction, business partnership, and people, resource, budget, and project management.

Key Accountabilities

• Participate in developing, maintaining, and executing regulatory compliance procedures.
• Perform administrative or clerical duties completing tasks using industry standard procedures.
• Plan, manage and review production operations to achieve output and quality objectives.
• Solicit, collect, and organize documentation and data, performing routine data entry into one or more systems.
• Working with drivers and requests from them. 
• Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general. supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, secondary education level, or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Transportation experience.
