As a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Emergency Department, you will provide care to infants, children, adolescents and young adults who are suffering from acute illnesses, asthma, complex illnesses, dehydration, infections, lacerations, minor to complex bone, tissue injuries, organ injuries and seizures. An RN in this role is familiar with complex medical histories, innovative surgical procedures, pain modalities, and comprehensive nutritional support. Your primary duties will include:
• Providing direct nursing care.
• Monitoring, recording, and communicating patients’ conditions as appropriate.
• Preparing patient care plans.
• Administering prescribed medications.
• Performing bedside hand-off reports and thorough bedside daily rounds.

• Can critically think and problem solve for patients’ best interests.
